Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Wednesday, mirroring losses in the international market.
The price of gold per tola dropped by Rs. 10,000 to reach Rs. 539,962, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs. 462,930, down by Rs. 8,573. On Tuesday, the price per tola had reached Rs. 549,962 after a decline of Rs. 13,900 during the day.
The international rate of gold also decreased by $100, bringing it to $5,172 per ounce, with a premium of $20.
In contrast, silver prices saw a slight rise, increasing by Rs. 100 to Rs. 9,004 per tola.
