Karachi, 20 August 2026 – inDrive, a global mobility and urban services platform, reported a significant spike in summer travel as families headed north to escape the heat. Routes connecting Islamabad to hill stations were among the busiest on the network in the first half of 2026.
The platform recorded a 54% increase in intercity rides and a 54% increase in distance travelled compared to the same period last year. The surge aligns with the school summer break, with travel peaking through June and July.
