PSO Honours Dealer Network as Frontline of Pakistan’s Energy Security

Karachi, August 31, 2026 – Pakistan State Oil (PSO), the country’s national energy company, hosted the PSO Excellence Awards 2026 in Karachi to recognise outstanding dealer partners and reaffirm its commitment to uninterrupted fuel supply across Pakistan.  

The event was attended by CEO Jawwad Ahmed Cheema, Chief Commercial Officer Amir Zaib Khan, senior management, and dealers from across the country.  

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Cheema said PSO’s obligation goes beyond retail size. “When supply is tight, when demand surges, when a region is remote, the country looks to PSO. Our commitment is simple: fuelling Pakistan, every day, no exceptions. That commitment is delivered at the forecourt, by our dealers, one customer at a time.”  

He noted the market is changing rapidly and said PSO intends to win back lost ground through “better sites, better service, better standards, better technology,” with zero compromise on quality, safety and customer experience.  

Top dealers were awarded for commercial performance, HSE standards, customer service and best practices. Members of PSO’s commercial team were also recognised.  

PSO outlined its most ambitious retail transformation yet: new site development, modernisation, automation, a rebuilt digital and loyalty platform, and an upgraded non-fuel retail offer. With over 3,600 forecourts, the company called its dealer network the “cornerstone” of energy security and growth.
