Vivo V80’s Battery, Camera Features, and Launch Timeline Leak

Vivo could soon expand its V80 lineup with a new standard model. A new rumor claims the Vivo V80 will launch in October. The company launched the V80 Lite a few weeks ago. The upcoming V80 is expected to succeed the popular V70 in vivo’s lineup. 

According to the report, the Vivo V80 could debut in India during the first week of October. However, Vivo has not confirmed the launch date or other details yet. The V80 is expected to bring a major battery upgrade. It could feature a 7,200mAh battery, compared with the 6,500mAh cell found in the V70.

The phone is also rumored to include a new AI Creative Camera mode. This feature could offer more than 30 AI effects for photos. The feature may be similar to the 25 styles available on the X300 FE. Vivo could also add a Live Sticker Collage feature to the V80.

This tool would let users create collages using Live Photos and stickers. It could give users more ways to customize and share their photos. The V80 is also expected to launch with Android 17 out of the box. Vivo’s OriginOS 7 will reportedly run on top of Google’s latest Android version.

Vivo is set to unveil OriginOS 7 on September 16. More details about the software should become available around that event. For now, the V80’s launch remains based on a rumor. Vivo has yet to officially confirm the phone or its specifications.
